Talent...

"Talent builds world class products and services, nurtures customer relationships, invents new processes and improves existing one. Talent inspires, coaches, and leads. Talent builds an organizations' reputation, and over time companies of all stripes will or will not become valuable because of their talent. To survive in the knowledge economy over the long term, organizations must become focused on managing talent as their most critical resource, and must turn to modern human resources technologies in order to manage their workforce as carefully as they would any physical asset."

Ecology...

Ecology is "the scientific study of the distribution and abundance of living organisms and how the distribution and abundance are affected by interactions between the organisms and their environment." Talent (the organisms) within our workforce define their meaning by their purpose and ideals. Both of these require status and function between the Talent and their employer (the environment) that define their relationship.
